In addition to practicing social distancing, the club recommends the following practices

  • "it's only a point" where it is not clear which player is returning the ball, LET IT GO
  • Drop shots / Lobs - clearly call for the ball thereby notifying your partner to back off
  • Do not change partners after each set
  • Do not shake hands after a set or match (tap your racquet is one option)
  • Do not sit on benches to rest
  • Avoid (wherever possible) booking an adjacent court for the same start time (courts 2 & 3) or (courts 4 & 5)
  • Use the sanitizing station on exiting the club
  • Wipe down the soles of your shoes before returning home, or better yet, leave your playing shoes in the garage (or outside your home)
