ONTARIO SENIOR +55 GAMES
QPTC HOSTING 2019 DISTRICT GAMES
Quaker Park Tennis Club is encouraging both members and non-members to participate in this opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled RECREATIONAL day of tennis and make some new friends.
Competition at our club is always friendly and focused on fun. This event provides other members of the community to experience a tennis day on clay. Once you try clay, you'll never want to go back to hard court play.
A nominal fee of $15 payable to the District 12 Senior Games provides you with a 1 year membership and the option to enter as many of the games as you wish. Just to be clear, QUAKER PARK TENNIS CLUB does not retain any portion of the fee, we simply provide the venue for the health and well being of our community.
Ontario Senior Games
Currently under the umbrella of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, the Ontario Senior+55 Games is a program developed to promote activities for seniors throughout Ontario.
Games are held throughout 36 districts throughout the Province of Ontario. District games are organized for anyone within the district who is 55+ and is interested in being active and enjoying some friendly competition.
Winners of the District Games qualify for the next level of games (Regional Games)
Regional Games held in four regions are usually a one day event and involve 5-8 local districts. Each district is usually able to send 2-3 entries for these games.
