Then Men’s League always welcomes new members at any level If you are new to Tennis, it is recommended that you begin by attending the free lessons available Mid-May to get the basics.
The League plays twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 am to 1 pm and schedules are pre-set. Matches will be doubles lasting 2 hours. The season is divided into 4 5-week sessions and members may participate in one or all sessions.
Members wishing to join the league may email mensleague@quakerparktennis.ca and make the request to the league convener.
The Ladies League is eagerly looking to the upcoming season. Play is scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday mornings from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. A round robin format is used allowing a change of partners and an opportunity to meet and play with all the members of the league. Don’t want to commit? No problem, join as a spare!
New to the club and want to join the league? simply come down any Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning and one of the ladies will be happy to get you started.
Wednesday Evening Advanced Competitive Doubles Play
QPTC offers a competitive league allowing an opportunity for advanced players to play in a more competitive environment. The matches are held Wednesdays starting at 4 pm through to 10 pm. Matches are pre-arranged by the convener and are 2 hours in length. This league welcomes both men and women.

Quaker Park Tennis offers a number of social events throughout the season for members. Most events are set up as round robin play, some are men’s doubles, some women’s doubles and some mixed doubles. Information on these events is normally posted in the clubhouse.
Tuesday night Social is a regular event held from 7:30 pm through 10 pm. This evening is open for recreational and social play aimed to provide new members or those new to tennis to play in a non-competitive environment.
Just show up Tuesday nights and you will be placed in a match. Matches are 30 minutes in length allowing you to meet and play with other players of similar level.
Friday Evening Competitive Intermediate Play
We are delighted to offer an evening for the higher intermediate members looking for a more competitive level of play. The plan is to start with 2 courts at 6:00 pm and add courts at 7:00 pm, depending on demand. Sign u will be required through Courtreserve. SPOTS WILL BE LIMITED!
The format is currently under development and we are accepting suggestions from members. This evening promises to be an evening of fun and competitive tennis.
